At ANCIEN, we carefully assess and restore each piece in our collection to preserve its character and natural patina. Please keep in mind that our pre-loved items have been enjoyed for years and even lifetimes of ownership, and therefore, will generally continue to exhibit signs of age, wear and use, even with careful restoration.

We do our best to disclose all minor flaws that may be associated with each item according to the condition chart below.

Please contact us prior to purchase for inquiries and additional information regarding the details or condition of a specific item, as all sales are considered final.

CONDITION CHART

Mint	Evidently unused or unworn, typically pre-owned contemporary items exhibiting virtually no signs of use or wear
Excellent	Limited signs of use or wear commensurate with age
Very Good	Normal signs of use or wear commensurate with age, may exhibit minor flaws and expected patina, presents well overall
Good	Clear signs of age and use, functional overall
Reference	Obvious signs of age and use, possibly unwearable or non-functional, for reference or inspiration

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

Complimentary shipping is offered on all domestic purchases over $200 USD.

Each package is issued tracking information which will be provided via email once your order is processed and prepared for shipment, within 24-48 hours, excluding weekends and major US holidays.

Kindly note, ANCIEN is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. We recommend that you opt for package insurance and/or signature-confirmation on all orders over $200 USD.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

All international taxes, customs and import duties will be billed to the recipient by the courier once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient. ANCIEN does not take responsibility for these costs and does not offer compensation for any of these charges. If a recipient refuses to pay the taxes, customs or import duties, the parcel will be abandoned and will not be eligible for refund or store credit.
