At ANCIEN, we carefully assess and restore each piece in our collection to preserve its character and natural patina. Please keep in mind that our pre-loved items have been enjoyed for years and even lifetimes of ownership, and therefore will generally exhibit signs of age, wear and use, even with careful restoration.

We do our best to disclose all flaws that may be associated with each item according to the condition chart below.

CONDITION CHART

Mint	Evidently unused or unworn, typically pre-owned contemporary items exhibiting virtually no signs of use or wear
Excellent	Limited signs of use or wear commensurate with age
Very Good	Normal signs of use or wear commensurate with age, may exhibit minor flaws and expected patina, presents well overall
Good	Clear signs of age and use, functional overall
Reference	Obvious signs of age and use, possibly unwearable or non-functional, for reference or inspiration
